If we put mother Earth on a scale of time of existence to one day (24 hours) than us as humans have only been here for one second. We are the only life in the past or present that takes more than what we need and does not have that inner harmony instinct to keep this fragile balance on Mother Earth for future generations.  We humans have only lived on Mother Earth a fraction of time since her existence, but we have left our fingerprint on her in a deeper and more profound way than any life before us or at present.
